
Pork Loin is a cut of meat that I can buy at a great price point to feed my supersized family. This is my favorite way to prepare it, and it gets rave reviews from my adoring fans hungry people! This is a simple recipe, and it can be thrown in the oven after lunch to bake all afternoon while my family and I are out world-conquering! Ingredients:
- Pork Loin, 5-6 lbs. (The one pictured was 5.8 lbs. pre-cooked weight.)
- Meat Tenderizer Seasoning
- Onion Powder
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- 12 oz. Hickory Smoked Bacon
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray large rectangular pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place pork loin in pan.
- Season the meat with the tenderizer, salt, pepper, and onion powder. (Or your favorite seasonings for meat!)
- Place sliced bacon over the top, sides touching so that the entire loin is covered. Tuck ends of bacon under.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake for 3.5 hours.
- Remove foil and bake for 10 additional minutes, to brown bacon if desired.
- Remove from oven and slice. Meat will be very tender, and may fall apart some as you slice.






This recipe is delicious served with baked potatoes, that can go in the oven for the last 1-1.5 hours of cooking. Add some green beans in the crock pot, or a tossed salad, and you have a great meal with minimal effort!
